Man arrested for two counts of murder in weekend crash

This evening, Elmore County detectives arrested Michael P. Martin, of Mountain Home, with two counts of second degree murder in connection with an early morning accident on Sunday that claimed the lives of James Robert Garner and Juanita Ramirez, both of Mountain Home.

Martin was arrested following interviews by detectives from Elmore County on Monday and will be held at the Elmore County Detention Facility until his arraignment on May 8 for the charges.

This was a joint investigation between Elmore County and the Idaho State Police and more details will be released as they become available.
