Schindele will challenge Wills this fall
Karen Marie Schindele has announced her candidacy on the Democratic ticket for the Idaho Legislature, District 22, Position A, in the 2006 Idaho election.
The position is currently held by Rep. Rich Wills of Glenns Ferry.
"I plan to develop my campaign goals based on the important issues facing my constituents," Schindele said.
"If elected, I plan to work diligently on behalf of the people of Boise and Elmore Counties. With the population explosion in both counties, it is important to ensure the concerns of the people regarding the housing market, emergency health care, and highway construction are well represented during our legislative sessions."
She went on to say that "our aging population and their needs will be extremely important to me as your representative.
