Ashley Laverty of Mountain Home has announced the birth of a girl, Keely Elizabeth Laverty, on Jan. 27, 2006, at Elmore Medical Center.

The babe weighed 8 lbs. 15 oz. and was 21-inches long at birth.

Grandparents of the child are Brenda Ziegler of Spokane, Wash., and Steve Ziegler of Pottstown, Penn.
