George and Mary Withers, of Hammett, celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary recently.

Family and friends gathered at a surprise open house to help the couple celebrate. The Withers said they appreciated all those, family and friends, who took the time to join them during the open house and who made their anniversary special.
