Girls soccer team beats Fruitland
The Mountain Home girls soccer team dropped a conference match to Vallivue, but won on the road at Fruitland last week.

Mountain Home had eked out a 2-1 victory over Vallivue earlier in the girls soccer season at Vallivue, and was hoping to get a sweep, but the Lady Falcons had other thoughts, downing the Lady Tigers 3-0 at Eastside Park on Oct. 1.
"I knew they were going to want to get even, because we took it to them when we played them at Vallivue," said Mountain Home girls soccer head coach Carlos Correa.
"We knew they're a tough team. Our girls were just not ready for some reason. I don't know if it was because of Senior Night, or what, but it was like they were thinking about celebrating and having too much fun, but we'll take it to them later (at district)."

Fruitland 1
Mountain Home got two goals from Sidnei Banks, and one each from Jessica Hendershot and Kylie Lippert as they downed the Lady Grizzlies at Fruitland last Thursday.
Banks also had an assist. Karen Kohtz had 10 saves on goal, and Savannah Lopez had five saves.
The win at Fruitland improved Mountain Home to 6-8-1 overall. They took a 2-3-1 conference mark to Caldwell Monday, to face the Lady Cougars, and close out their regular season schedule with a conference match at Kuna this (Wednesday) afternoon.
