On Saturday, March 2nd, the Mountain Home Fire Department had a scheduled building burning. The MHFD team had the opportunity to utilize one of the old dormitory buildings of the former Sequel Three Springs School. The city purchased the former school when the company shut down Mountain Home operations in June of 2022. Minor Gas Leak (Local News ~ 03/06/24)
At approximately 11:30am at the cross roads of SW Lago and SW Shaft a residential gas leak was reported while fiber optic maintenance occurred. As of now it is suspected that while digging there was a joint that had been struck, however it is not yet known, and under further investigation.
