On Saturday, March 2nd, the Mountain Home Fire Department had a scheduled building burning. The MHFD team had the opportunity to utilize one of the old dormitory buildings of the former Sequel Three Springs School. The city purchased the former school when the company shut down Mountain Home operations in June of 2022. The building had been condemned due to mold that took hold of the facility while the legalities of ownership were established over the course of two years...

The MHHS wrestling team competed at State this past weekend with the following results: Camden Kuntz as State Champion, Amie Hartman as now 2X State Champion and 3X State Placer, and Wesley Hodges as 4th Place and 2X State Placer. The team was able to have an amazing send off as well by their peers, teachers, and administrative team, along with the Mountain Home Fire Department. Can you say jealous?...

At approximately 11:30am at the cross roads of SW Lago and SW Shaft a residential gas leak was reported while fiber optic maintenance occurred. As of now it is suspected that while digging there was a joint that had been struck, however it is not yet known, and under further investigation. Luckily the residents that would have had to be evacuated were not home, and there was no immediate danger to surrounding areas...
