She was born on October 31, 1958, in Brooklyn, New York to James and Florence Kolb. Kathy married her husband, James J. Schipani, on November 3, 1979, in New York. Together they had one son, Jimmy. Kathy loved her son with all her heart. She accompanied him to bowling tournaments and attended all his sporting events while he was growing up...

A weather related incident involving a semi-truck resulted in Exit 95 being blocked until Elmore County EMS, state and city police, and an extrication team arrived on scene to free the vehicle and allow for regular traffic flow to resume.
