William George James, age 75, of Mountain Home passed away at a Boise hospital on Wednesday, March 16, 2022. Services with military honors will be held at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery in Boise on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at 11:00 AM. Arrangements are under the care of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel. William was born on July 26, 1946, in Medford Oregon to William W. James and Audrey E. Hemple. He joined the United States Air Force where he retired as a Tech Sgt after serving 23 years. He married his wife, Shirley, on March 30, 1984, in Clark Field, Pampanga, Philippines. Together they had three children. William is survived by his wife, daughter Sherry Delaney, sons Sean James and Steven James.
