Library looks to the future

The Mountain Home Public Library Board of Trustees met on May 2 to go over changes to the rental policy for the conference room, the purchase of security gates, a bathroom remodel and the library's goals for the next ten years. The library was setting out their ten year goals to go with the city's comprehensive plan that they have been working on. Rimrock student receives scholarship

Last week, the Idaho Association of Highway Districts announced the award of a $1,000 college scholarship to a student in Elmore County. The Mountain Home Highway District has presented the $1,000 scholarship award to Mylee Myers. Myers is currently a Senior at Rimrock High School where she maintains a 3.7 GPA, and will be pursuing her degree in Physical Therapy at the University of Idaho in the fall of 2019. ...
