On April 3, Elmore County Commissioners and the City of Mountain Home worked together to take interested parties on a water tour. The tour was put together so those attending could learn more about the county's new project that will help to recharge the county's depleted aquifer...

Information was released on the afternoon of April 2, that the Idaho Department of Water Resources has approved an application for Elmore County to pump water out of Anderson Ranch Reservoir in its efforts to replenish the aquifer. The application requested the allocation of water from the reservoir on years that water is being released for flood control measures. ...

On April 5, Hacker Middle School students got up close and personal with the American Revolutionary War as fifth graders turned themselves into a wax museum of Revolutionary figures. The assignment was to choose a person to research and give a presentation on and then, (without spending money) turn themselves into those figures. Wilma Morrison Hoagland passed away gently at home in Hammett, Idaho on April 7, 2019 at the age of 104. Wilma was born on October 19, 1914 to James P. and Rae Perkins Morrison in Dayton, Idaho. Raised on her grandfather Perkins homestead, Wilma liked indoor activities more than outdoor. ...
