County to terminate ambulance agreement with St. Luke’s

The Elmore County Commissioners met on March 15 and discussed the joint agreement of Elmore Ambulance Services (EAS), between Elmore County and St. Luke's Elmore. A notice of termination has been drafted to discontinue St. Luke's management of EAS. The county will be creating a department to oversee ambulance service operations. Michael Nordin, a local Mountain Home Life Scout with Boy Scout Troop 57 has taken on the project of building six sets of bunk beds with trundles, a total of eighteen beds, for Elmore County’s first safe house as his Eagle Scout Project. Dear Friends, This past week we enjoyed “Red Jacket Day at the Capitol.” The Republican Women’s clubs from around the State were in town for their annual legislative visit and meetings. The Idaho Federal of Republican Women hosted a reception for legislators at the Capitol Cellars restaurant on Monday evening. Then at noon on Tuesday, the Canyon County Republican Women’s club prepared a buffet lunch in the Capitol for legislators and their respective clubs... -
