The Western Elmore County Recreation District held their weekly meeting on Sept. 5. After tabling a decision on choosing Architectural and Engineer Services last week in order for each of the directors to look at the two proposals more in depth, the board was ready to make a decision this week. Lady Tigers win one, lose one

The Lady Tigers Varsity Soccer team is currently sitting with a conference record of 2-3-1. On Sept. 4 the team traveled to Jerome High School for a game. At half time Jerome had a 2-0 lead, but early in the second half Freshman Forward Hannah Houser scored, assisted by Senior Midfielder Biri Martinez. Jr. High Cross Country hosts meet at Legacy Park

The Mountain Home Jr. High Cross Country meet hosted Vaillivue and West Nampa at a meet at Legacy Park on Sept. 6. The girls team won the Varsity race and had the top three placers in both the Varsity and JV races.
