The Elmore County Fair and Rodeo closed the books on the 2018 year on Saturday night after a successful week in Glenns Ferry. According to Fair Manager Julie Lisle both attendance and vendor sells were up this year even with the weather. "You've got to have the heat, it's kind of a prerequisite for a fair. The Elmore County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to announce the official designation of the Elmore County Special Response Team (SRT). This team was created to respond to situations in the county that require a higher level of training than the normal response units may have. He was also given a wooden cut-out of the state of Idaho with "Thin Blue LIne" on the front and the signatures of members of the department on the back...

Mountain Home's 12-U All-Stars competed once again and traveled to Moscow, ID for an important tournament. The Northwest Regional Championships. The team needed to win the tournament in order to participate in the Cal Ripken World Series.
