The Elmore County Fair and Rodeo closed the books on the 2018 year on Saturday night after a successful week in Glenns Ferry. According to Fair Manager Julie Lisle both attendance and vendor sells were up this year even with the weather. "You've got to have the heat, it's kind of a prerequisite for a fair. Dear Editor, We want to wish Rick Vallard a hearty congratulations and a huge thank you from all the citizens on his upcoming retirement. After many years of observing Rick taking care of many properties in our park department, but especially the "pool park" we will truly miss seeing him every Monday and Thursday and in between on other park projects. His care and concern for this park shows in how beautiful this park looks, just like it was his own front yard...

Mountain Home All Stars Compete at Regional Championships (High School Sports ~ 07/25/18)
Mountain Home's 12-U All-Stars competed once again and traveled to Moscow, ID for an important tournament. The Northwest Regional Championships. The team needed to win the tournament in order to participate in the Cal Ripken World Series.
