If you say "the USA," you're right. In 2010, the U.S. Congress passed the Affordable Care Act which, for all its weaknesses, provided many more Americans with medical insurance coverage and brought us a little closer to the status enjoyed in other democracies. ...

Arts council summer concert series begins this Friday (Local News ~ 07/12/17)
The Mountain Home Arts Council and Mountain Home Parks and Recreation department will team up as the arts organization launches its 40th season during a concert Friday evening. Free and open to the public, the concert featuring the Beatles tribute band West Abbey Road A runs from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. that day in Carl Miller Park with vendor booths set to open after 5:30 p.m.
