Tears start flowing as Chiara and Savannah Morin welcome home their father, Master Sgt. Stephen Morin, on Friday. The sergeant surprised his children after showing up at East Elementary School's Carnival of Science program that evening. Morin was one of 40 members of the 366th Fighter Wing at Mountain Home Air Force Base that returned home that day following a nearly seven-month deployment in support of anti-terrorism operations in Southwest Asia...

Marvin H. Nix, 95, of Mountain Home, passed away peacefully at St. Luke's Hospital in Boise on Friday, April 21, 2017.
