Donna Mae Carter, 83, of Boise and formerly of Mountain Home, passed away of natural causes at St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center on Jan. 26, 2017, at 1:13 p.m. with her daughter, granddaughter and great granddaughters by her side. Donna was born Jan 13, 1934, in Bellingham, Wash., to George Thomas and Hazel Marie (Hickok) Blake. In 1952, she met the love of her life, James Thomas Carter Sr., who was stationed in Blaine, Wash.
