Two people were killed after a mobile home on the north end of Mountain Home caught fire early Monday morning. The fire was reported at 1:56 a.m. with the single-wide structure at 3190 West Lancaster Lane fully engulfed by the time crews arrived on scene, according to city fire chief Mark Moore...

City police officers arrested an adult and teenager on Thursday on charges of child abuse involving an 18-month-old infant. Nicole Christiansen, 24, and a 17-year-old teen were booked at the Elmore County Jail, where they were charged with felony injury to a child...

Debbie Sue Benishek, 64, of Mountain Home, passed away on Dec. 20, 2016, at St. Luke's Hospital in Boise. Per her request, no services will be held. Cremation is under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, in Mountain Home.
