Dear editor, I am the grandmother of a student at Mountain Home High. I am outraged at the removal of Tamia Williams' art from the school parking lot. Tamia got permission to display her beautiful painting, that of a young black woman, there. This whole thing blew up because Tamia, a minor, and her family were being cyber-bullied and racially harassed online -- a clear violation of her civil rights. The racists actions on the parking lot itself and nearby were also disgraceful...

Dear editor, As a concerned parent of a high school student here in Mountain Home, I think there is a significant detail that has been left out of the conversation over the removal of a student's artwork. There was no controversy over the painting until it was posted on Facebook and the student, a minor, and her family were cyber bullied and racially harassed online by adult members of the community...
