Strong job growth, a continued demand for workers and an increase in people looking for work edged Idaho's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate up slightly in July to 3.8 percent, according to the Idaho Department of Labor. Idaho regained its status as number one in the nation for over-the-year job growth in July with nearly 23,000 more jobs and a 3.4 percent increase driven by across-the-board gains in all industries...

David DeVore, a student from East Elementary School, lifts a shot into the left side of a modified goal during this year's soccer shootout, held recently at Legacy Park. Hosted by the Mountain Home Elks Lodge, the event brought together a number of students between ages 4 and 13, who put their goal-shooting skills to the test during the day.
