Fish salvage begins at local reservoir

Citing low runoff and high demand for water, the Mountain Home Reservoir opened to public fish salvage starting last Saturday. The salvage, which suspends fish bag, possession and size limits, remains in effect through Oct. 1. Anglers still need a valid Idaho fishing license when fishing at the reservoir. Fourth of July yearly car show winners named (Local News ~ 07/16/16)
Representatives with the El-Wyhee Business Association in Mountain Home named more than a dozen winners during this year's "Wash and Shine" car show. Held in conjunction with the city's annual Independence Day celebration, the event in Carl Miller Park featured a number of classic automobiles as well as newer model vehicles.
