State lawmaker Pete Nielsen had his hunting license suspended for one year and was ordered to pay civil penalties and other fines during a hearing at the Elmore County Courthouse Tuesday afternoon. Nielsen, who represents Mountain Home and surrounding communities, pled guilty to a single count of unlawfully possessing a spike elk with an anterless tag.

Earl P. Tischendorf, 95 of Hammett, Idaho, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2016, in Meridian. Arrangements are under the direction of Cloverdale Funeral Home in Boise.
