UPDATE: Police locate missing adult

Mountain Home police located John Nichols, 74, a local resident who was reported missing early Tuesday evening from Cedar Crest Residential Care. Nichols was last seen in the area of the local Albertsons grocery store around 9 p.m. Tuesday in his wheelchair. He was found at a local motel around 8:25 a.m. Wednesday.

Richard "Dick" Humpherys passed away peacefully on April 12, 2016, at his home in Hammett. He was a beloved father, grandfather and friend. Dick was born Jan. 26, 1930, in Pocatello to Lorin and Ina Humpherys. He married Ella Baker on July 23, 1951, and they were married for 49 years before his beloved wife passed away in 2001. The couple had three sons, Dennis, Dave and Douglas.
