Dear editor, I have a message for the Western Elmore County Recreation District and Albertson's, How about turning the Paul's building into a rec center or roller rink or something for the community. It has good parking (even room for an outdoor basket ball hoop) and plenty of inside room that could be converted to something for our youth...

Dear editor, I have always wondered, always been curious, why the business and government organizations in our community haven't seen a recreation complex as a positive opportunity. Is it because they cannot make a decision as a group? I have never even heard public comments from them. Wouldn't a recreation complex be considered a positive asset for these organizations as a whole?...

Dennis Cockerham

1962-2016 Dennis Howard Cockerham, 53, of Glenns Ferry, Idaho, passed away on February 7, 2016 after being flown to a SLC, UT hospital and undergoing care. Dennis was born October 10, 1962 in Concord, CA to Clyde and Joyce Cockerham; the youngest of four children. Soon after, the Cockerham family moved to Olympia, WA. They enjoyed their land with its orchards, animals, and streams. It was a special place for the kids to learn and explore. They later moved to Fairfield, Idaho.
