As a classic car collector, stopping ethanol subsidies would be just fine, since it is not only detrimental to performance and fuel economy, but has been proven to cause corrosion in fuel tanks, fuel lines and carburetor components. Some boat owners have really found ethanol to be costly...

Local hospital to return to taxing district

St. Luke's Elmore Medical Center in Mountain Home will return to the local taxing district as part of a settlement that resolves an investigation from the Idaho attorney general's office and St. Luke's Health System in the Treasure Valley.
