Roderick Allen "Rod" Garrity, age 69 of Owyhee, Nev., passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2015, at a Boise hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, in Mountain Home.

Anne Lorraine Potter, 92, died Dec. 23, 2015, in Mountain Home. Born on Aug. 21, 1923, to Lloyd and Laura Vostad, she was raised near Volga, S.D., in a Norwegian farming community. The oldest of five children, she loved working with her father.
