A local tradition returns to Mountain Home as the Chamber of Commerce hosts its 19th Annual Fall Harvest Festival on Oct. 3. Hosted by the chamber's community activities committee, the event will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. that day in the city's downtown area...

1946 -- 2015 John Charles Bremser, beloved husband of Joyce Marie Bremser, passed away peacefully at home, on Sept. 9, 2015. He was 69 years old. John suffered a long, hard battle with emphysema. John was born in Hustisford, Wis., on Aug. 20, 1946, to Carl and Adeline (Winger) Bremser. He grew up in Oconomowoc, Wis., as well as Illinois and Minnesota. Barbara Jean "Bobbi" Richart, Payette passed away Sept. 23, 2015, at her home after a yearlong battle with cancer. She was 66. Bobbi was born July 29, 1949, in Berkley, Calif. Being in a military family, Bobbi was educated in many states, from California, Florida, Idaho, Texas and Japan. She studied and became a piano concert pianist before she graduated from Aqua Clara High School in 1967...

Thomas W. Kelsey, age 59 of Mountain Home, passed away on Sept. 24, 2015, at his home. Arrangements are under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, in Mountain Home.

Harry Earl Bernhardt born June 9, 1954, in Florence Oregon. Passed away at Marquis Care Center in Boise at 10:40 am September 22, 2015. He attended Mapleton High School in Oregon and 1 year at Lane Community College. Harry lived in Mountain Home for 31 years with his mother Lillian Wallace and step father Jerry. He worked for High Reachers for 5 years. A private service will be held in Florence Oregon at a later time. Harry was a joy for anyone who knew him. He'll be missed very much...
