State's gas prices falling, remain above natl average

Following a seasonal jump in the average cost for a gallon of gasoline, prices across the state fell to an 11-year low in time for the Labor Day weekend but were still 42 cents above the national average. Falling oil prices brought prices in Mountain Home and cities across southern Idaho below $3 per gallon for unleaded and diesel brands of fuel, making it easier on the wallets of an estimated 30.4 million Americans traveling over the past weekend, according to the American Automobile Association.. ...
