Filing begins for local elections

Five school districts in the local area, including Mountain Home and Glenns Ferry, will hold elections May 19 for seats on local school boards. Those wanting to run for one of the trustee seats in the election can now file their candidacy petitions with the clerk or secretary of the respective taxing district.
