The basketball post season ended last Monday for the Mountain Home Lady Tigers with their 55-19 district tournament loss to Caldwell. The score was somewhat misleading, because the Lady Tigers played hard all night, forcing the same number of turnovers from Caldwell that they had -- 24. But a frigid night of shooting plagued Mountain Home as the team hit just six field goals on the night while shooting just 12 percent from the field...

The Mountain Home Tigers wrapped up their regular season wrestling schedule last Wednesday at Skyview, downing the Hawks, 70-10. Mountain Home won six of the eight matches actually wrestled at Skyview with the Hawks forfeiting in seven weight classes...

Representatives with Mountain Home High School's senior celebration committee will host a talent show Feb. 25. Open to people across the Mountain Home community, the event will begin at 6:30 p.m. that day at Lloyd Schiller Gymnasium. The Tooth Dome and The Dental Center joined forces this month to provide free checkups and routine care for youngsters of selected families in the Mountain Home area during this year's "Give Kids A Smile" program...

Mountain Home Police arrested a juvenile male Thursday evening in connection with a series of vehicle break-ins. Police officers made the arrest after they responded to several calls regarding a juvenile male looking into vehicles parked in front of local businesses...

Lloyd Howard Hayes, age 73 of Mountain Home, passed away at his home on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015. A memorial service officiated by pastor Gary Allen will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015, at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel. Inurnment with military honors will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
