Man found frozen to death in car (Local News ~ 01/09/15)
Paul Flood, 70, of King Hill, is believed to have died of exposure last week after staying in his pickup truck when it apparently slid off the road just 200 yards from his home on Flood Road, east of King Hill. Elmore County Deputy Zack Parlin was dispatched to Flood's home at approximately 5:30 p.m., on Dec. 30 after receiving a welfare check request from one of the man's acquaintances. Bad light ballast triggers fire call (Local News ~ 01/09/15)
Fire crews responded to the Gingerbread House in downtown Mountain Home at about 3:30 p.m. Friday after reports of someone smelling smoke and ozone. Fire officials believe it originated in a bad light ballast.
