Although the Patriot Thunder ride to Mountain Home has been canceled, the effort to raise funds for three local military charities will go on with a Patriot Thunder event in Meridian. If the ride won't come to Mountain Home, however, that isn't stopping local motorcyclists from making an informal trip to the "ride in" at Meridian's High Desert Harley-Davidson shop...

Some rejoiced while others broke down in tears as nine students earned their diplomas during their graduation from Richard McKenna Charter High School on Saturday. Ronald Keith Pelkey, 70, of Boise, passed away at St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center on Monday, May 26, 2014. Ron was born in Ellwood City, Pa., on May 31, 1943, and married his wife on June 1, 1963. While in the Air Force, he traveled to France, Florida, Okinawa and Idaho. He retired in 1982 and began working for the Idaho Transportation Department and retired again in 2006...

Members from the 366th Fighter Wing are scheduled to deploy Friday to Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. The deployment is designed to demonstrate continued U.S. commitment to stability in the Asia-Pacific region.
