Seven-term legislator Pete Nielsen appeared to have turned back a strong challenge from Steve Millington in Tuesday's primary election, although the results were still in doubt at press time. Nielsen won narrowly in Elmore County 1100-1046, lost to Millington 258-437 in Twin Falls County, and carried Owyhee County by a 690-482 margin, for a total victory of 2,048-1,965 (51 percent)...

The Mountain Home High School's graduating class will cross the stage Friday evening to receive their diplomas as they start their journey into the real world. Graduation ceremonies are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. at Tiger Field to recognize the 243 students representing the Class of 2014...
