Local fine art photographer Jerry Kencke has been named a Western Master Artist by the Western Masters Artists of Great Falls, Mont., home of the Charles M. Russell Art Museum. In the 40-year history of the organization, the organization has rarely accepted photography as fine art, but Kencke "is one of those rare exceptions," the group said...

The Mountain Home Tigers came away with a third-place finish Friday at the District III 4A Wrestling Tournament at Bishop Kelly. The Tigers had a district champ, a district runner-up, four third-place finishers, three fourths, three fifths, three sixths and an at-large qualification.
