The Mountain Home Tigers improved their times at last Thursday's Gib Floyd Invitational Cross country meet in Kuna. Rocky Mountain won both the girls and boys meets. Mountain Home finished sixth in the boys, and ninth in the girls meet. Shilo Clark led the Mountain Home girls with her best time of the season, running a 22 minutes, 52 seconds. ...

German students get up-close look of American life

Students from a high school in Germany got a first-hand look at the American lifestyle during an exchange program in Mountain Home. The 17 students and their two adult chaperones arrived in Mountain Home on Oct. 4 as part of a nine-day visit. The students and teachers were from the city of Hofgeismar, located in central Germany. Demolition begins on two base schools

Two of the three school buildings on Mountain Home Air Force Base are in the process of being demolished.
