Registration for the 2013-2014 school year in the Mountain Home School District begins next Monday, Aug. 5. Schools will be open from 8 a.m. to noon and 1-4 p.m. for those registering in person, but the district is encouraging parents to register online this year...

A fire destroyed a mobile home in the KOA Campground in Mountain Home on Friday afternoon. Flames had already engulfed the structure by the time rescue crews arrived on scene around 4 p.m. According to information gathered at the scene, no one was home at the time of the fire, and there were no reports of injuries.
