A Mountain Home man is due back at the Elmore County Courthouse to face charges of felony child abuse. Joshua T. Nelson, 24, was arrested by Mountain Home police July 1 after he allegedly inflicted injuries on an 11-month-old child. Idaho Power Company has announced fire restrictions at its parks on C.J. Strike Reservoir near Bruneau. Fires are NOT allowed in the North Park RV sites or at Cottonwood Park. Fire is also prohibited at the Jacks Creek Recreation Area. Fires are currently allowed in the North Park tent area as well as Scout and Locust parks until further notice...
