Bad weather wiped out two of Mountain Home's three games they had scheduled last week. Their non-conference game last Tuesday at Jerome was suspended with Jerome batting in the bottom of the second inning, leading 2-0, when a snow storm hit. That game was to be continued Tuesday when the two teams met in Mountain Home, with the continuation game starting at 3:30 p.m. Rain caused Friday's home game against Middleton to be postponed until May 1...

The Mountain Home Lady Tigers snapped a six-game losing skid last Tuesday with a win over Columbia, and added another win against Nampa before losing at Caldwell. For the third straight year, the Mountain Home Talkin' Tigers can claim a state champion. Dylon Nute and Dixon Kean earned top honors in Duo Interpretation last weekend at the state high school speech competition in Twin Falls. Both seniors, Nute and Kean were judged first among the 43 entries from the 27 schools that participated at the event.
