Yesterday some yahoo left our back gate open and let my prize female Valley Bulldog out.I am heartbroken and desperatly hope that she ends up with a good person who realizes that she is very well taken care of and wanted back. my biggest fear is that someone decides to keep her without doing the right thing.Their is a reward being offered so please if you see a brindle bulldog with a white stripe in her face please take her to the shelter as i have them on speed dial. ...

Esther June Nye, 89, of Mountain Home, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012, at Elmore Medical Center's Long Term Care Unit. Esther was born on Aug. 29, 1923, in Lebanon, Pa., the daughter of Raymond and Violet (Auman) Eckert. She spent most of her life in Pennsylvania where she married Warren E. Nye on Dec. 20, 1941. After Warren's death in March of 1998, she moved to Mountain Home to be closer to her family...
