Stepping onto the first tee, Chuck Curtis adjusted his grip on the driver and took a swing. The club made a satisfying sound as it sliced through the air. After a minor adjustment to his stance, Curtis took another couple of swings just for good measure. U.S. 20, in both directions between Industrial Road and Anderson Dam Road, will undergo road construction between Aug. 18-23 because the road is being repaved. The roadway will be reduced to one lane with a pilot car in operation. Look out for flaggers...
