Trinity Ridge Fire closure area expanded

Due to the Trinity Ridge Fire continual growth, an area closure has been expanded in the Boise National Forest. The new closure doubles the area just implemented on Thursday, Aug. 9, from approximately 300,000 acres to 563,000 acres. The approximate area affected is south of Lowman, east of Idaho City, north of Featherville and west from within a western portion of the Sawtooth Wilderness...

Mountain Home man pleads guilty to possessing sex images of girl

James William Carr IV, 23, of Mountain Home, pled guilty in United States District Court Thursday to possession of sexually explicit images of a minor, U.S. Attorney Wendy J. Olson announced. Sad change in format for local radio station

I've been enjoying the Classic Country AM radio station 1240 for several years since we moved to MH. They played the many songs that I played as a musician for 25 years, and now they have changed the format to what they try to pass off these days as Country Music. In my estimation, the music they are playing now on which was my favorite radio station is not country, not even close to resembling true country :-( Now my search is on for a true country music station to tune in to...
