Members of the Mountain Home community render honors as a hearse containing the remains of a soldier from Idaho passes beneath the North 18th Street bridge Friday morning. Stolen fair equipment found

A tractor stolen from the Elmore County Fairgrounds in March was recovered last week in Arizona. Detective Mike Barclay with the Elmore County Sheriff's Office said the investigation into the theft is ongoing with information on the case limited at this time...

The students at Richard Mc-Kenna successfully passed Idaho's AYP tests last year. Our students are some of the hardest working youth in Mountain Home, and our teachers are outstanding...

Dear editor, The Emergency Preparedness Fair held last Saturday at the LDS Church on Haskett was so very well done. I was totally amazed at the displays -- Police, Firemen, helicopter, Air Force, Search and Rescue, communications, bicycle registration and many other booths, and nummy hot dogs sold by the Boy Scouts...
