Ted Lee Dalrymple, 62, of Mountain Home, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2011, at home, following an illness. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., on Saturday, Dec. 31, at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel. Ted was born Aug. 15, 1949, in Twin Falls. He grew up in Hansen. In 1966, he attended Boys State and graduated from Hansen High School in 1967. He worked for some local ranches while also serving in the National Guard for six years...

The United States and Saudi Arabia have reached agreement on a $30 billion sale of F-15 fighter jets to the desert kingdom, an action that could accelerate efforts to locate a Saudi Arabian training squadron at Mountain Home AFB -- although that portion of the deal has not been finalized, yet.
