Donation Car Wash being held for Marching Tigers

The Mountain Home High School Band Boosters and members of the Marching Tigers are trying to raise funds to help with replacement costs for new color guard flags and drum heads for the drum line. "Band equipment isn't cheap and we will need to raise about $1000 for these two items," said Walt Rueger the band booster's director of fundraising. Pie social kicks off Tuesday

The Mountain Home Historical Society will host its 10th Annual Pie Social on Tuesday, Aug. 16. This year, the group is hosting a Peach Pie Baking Contest and is inviting bakers to take on the challenge. Contest pies must be at the museum by 3 p.m. on Tuesday and in glass pie dishes with the maker's name and contact information, as well as where the ingredients were purchased (ten percent of the criteria is the use of local ingredients)...
