The third annual Mountain Home Tiger Alumni baseball game and Home Run Derby will be held Saturday evening. Tiger baseball coach Mark Cotton said the festivities will get underway at 5 p.m. that day. "The alumni are encouraged to bring their children to the field at 5 p.m. for the barbeque and kids wiffle ball game on the varsity field," Cotton said...

The annual Juneteenth celebration will be held June 18 at Carl Miller Park. Festivities for the family-oriented event begin at noon and will last until 8 p.m. Children's activities will be held throughout the day, along with free hot dogs and hamburgers...

City officials and the Air Force are anxiously awaiting a decision by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to place a training squadron at Mountain Home Air Force Base. The Air Force and the Department of Defense have signed off on the agreement following months of negotiations to base the squadron here, which could have a major positive economic impact on this community. The kingdom is currently in the process of reviewing the final documents. A Saudi decision is expected before the end of this month...
