Cladis "C.D." Houston will be honored Friday as the Person of the Year during the annual Black History Banquet in Mountain Home. The 22nd Annual Black History Banquet will be held Feb. 18 at the Elk's Lodge in Mountain Home. The Mountain Home Public Library will feature an Agility Dog Demonstration by Kayla Parsons and her dogs this Saturday at 1 p.m. as part of the Big Read events at the library. The Mountain Home Lady Tigers' loss to Middleton in the semi-finals of the District III 4A girls basketball tourney meant that if the Lady Tigers were to reach their goal of making it to state they would have to go through the back door, winning two district consolation games to claim third place, then win a play-in game against the District VI runner-up...
