Elmore County's Planning and Zoning Commission held the first in a series of public hearings Oct. 20 regarding a proposal to build a planned community west of Mountain Home. If approved by county commissioners in coming months, the Mayfield Springs Planned Community would encompass 761 acres of agricultural land north of the interstate at the border of Elmore and Ada counties...
