The diagnosis of local physician Dr. Waklee Bledsoe with leukemia, has prompted toe launch of a bone marrow donor registry drive in Mountain Home. More than 10,000 patients in the United States are diagnosed with life-threatening diseases such as leukemia or lymphoma, which can sometimes be cured with a bone marrow transplant...

Betty Lou Ligon, 79, of Mountain Home, passed away on Friday, Sept. 17, 2010, at a local hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.
