Dear editor: This letter is in response to the Letter to the Editor from Marsha Sellers, WECRD Board President, in the March 31, 2010, edition of the Mountain Home News. In her letter Ms. Sellers states the following: "Although we all agree there was no intent to deceive with this application process, the inaccuracies needed correcting."...

Dear editor: I received an article which I think may be something that could save America from our corrupt congress. It is called the "Congressional Reform Act of 2010." I address this to all conservatives, liberals and everybody in between. This act contains eight provisions, all of which would probably be strongly endorsed by those who drafted the Constitution and the Bill of Rights...

The Mountain Home Volunteer Fire Department has added four new members to its team, bringing the department up 32 to members, only two of which, Fire Chief Phil Gridley and fireman Brian Reed, are paid. The rest are all volunteers but their high level of training has resulted in their being recognized as one of the best fire departments in the state...

The Mountain Home Tiger wrestlers have been busy competing at Mountain Man wrestling tournaments. On March 20 at the Capital City Classic, Trevor Dockstader won the Bantam 60 class. Second-place efforts went to Hunter Coots in the Prebantam 45, Colin Shoemaker in the PreBantam 60, Trey Moore in the Novice 130 Freestyle, Ryan Goldsby in the Junior 152 Freestyle, and Jon Ryan in the Junior 215 Freestyle...
