Dear editor: I am writing this letter to support Barbara Steele in her candidacy for Clerk of the District Court. The clerk's position is one of many and varied tasks and when done properly, takes countless hours to accomplish getting the work done in a timely and professional manner. The position includes Clerk of the District Court, Auditor, Clerk of the Board of Commissioners, Recorder, and Chief Elections Officer.
