Dear editor: I have been reading the editorials in support of Dr. Baldridge and I believe the sentiments mirror what many more people are thinking but have yet to write in. I think it's great having a doctor who had been a military physician out on the airbase. I am sure he has many Tricare patients and since he has been a military doctor he has the unique perspective of understanding this group of patients...

Mountain Home High School Talkin' Tigers Speech and Debate team has qualified nine students already for nationals and three more have been selected as first alternates. The Talkin' Tigers dominated the 17 schools at the National Speech/Debate Qualifiers this weekend at the College of Idaho in Caldwell. The Elmore County Fair Board has named Glenns Ferry resident Earl Gardner its Grand Marshal for the 2010 Elmore County Fair and Rodeo. Fair board members paid a surprise visit to the VFW Hall last week where Gardner and other veterans were enjoying the VFW's monthly potluck, to make the announcement...
